📢 Summer 2025 Hiring Update – Hulbert Aquatic Center

At this time, we are pausing our Lifeguard summer hiring for summer 2025 as we have reached our staffing capacity for the season. We anticipate reassessing our staffing needs this fall and expect to reopen hiring at that time.
While we are not actively hiring right now, we will be keeping our official job application open. If you’re interested in working with us, feel free to submit an application. We’ll keep it on file and reach out if a position becomes available or when we begin fall hiring.

LIFEGUARDS
Hulbert Aquatic Center is looking for responsible and collaborative lifeguards! Hulbert Aquatic Center is one of the top aquatic facilities in the Midwest, hosting high school, regional, state, and national competitions and events. Lifeguards are offered a flexible schedule, perfect for those with a busy school, activities, or family schedule. Positions start at $15 per hour with an average of 10-15 hours per week. Additional hours and assignments are available, including opportunities to teach swimming lessons and aqua fitness classes. Tuesday & Thursday Mornings
5:00 - 8:00 AM
Monday - Friday
11:30 - 1:30 PM
3:00 - 8:30 PM (partial shifts available)
6:00 - 8:30 PM
Saturdays & Sundays
12:00 - 3:00 PM
Additional hours are available on the weekends for large events.

INSTRUCTORS
Hulbert Aquatic Center is looking to hire enthusiastic and proficient swimming lessons and aquatic fitness instructors with excellent teaching, communication, and customer service skills. Under the direction of the Programming Supervisor, our instructors will get to work on creating a fun new program for their classes and help to significantly contribute to each participant's health and fitness goals. Instructor positions start at $16.33 per hour and are offered a consistent schedule with additional opportunities available upon request.
